After having completed Flowers by Nic florist website, Sarah, a current employee, was very impressed and wanted a mini-site to help promote her wedding and floral service on the island. Her idea of the website theme was to be professional and very clean. The designer begun work on the logo which set the look for the website. A number of revisions later and we completed the chosen logo. The site features three independent galleries, a very easy to use layout with large buttons, a very defined and consistent look and fully compatible on tablet/touch devices such as the iPad. To top it off, we also printed 100x business cards designed along with the websites theme.

We were delighted to hear another florist contact us after having a great time developing Flower Garden in Newport on the Isle of Wight. We had a meeting and discussed their interests in a website and how Nic (the owner) wanted it to look. The shop was welcoming, unique and had a cosy feel about it and the designer said he had a great time designing the website, due to the heavy use of photography involved in the design. Since so much time has been spent in the products of the shop and the look and feel, we wanted to reflect this through the website as much as possible.
For the web design, we initially produced all of the pages through mock-ups and by having frequent communication with the client, we were able to get a design she really loved. The photography service also helped a lot since we spent a lot of time checking over the photos to make sure everything that was designed had her shop in mind. Once the web designs were complete, we begun web development and after two weeks the website was ready to go live. A message to the client and we took her through setting up Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to help promote the new website.

The Bay Tree Florist is in an ideal location in the center of East Cowes and the only florist there, too. We’re both Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce members and we had a meeting after Leanne the business owner, mentioned seeing the Flower Garden website we created. The specification was to create a simple and intuitive website with an impressive and striking homepage. After producing a number of concepts and working with Leanne, we decided to go with a wide screen gallery to show detailed photos of her flowers and gifts.
The designer took particular inspiration from typography designs found in a number of floral magazines and that to accentuate her brand. As an added feature, we also included her Facebook account feed on the homepage so visitors see any updates, such as offers and seasonal promotions.

We were delighted to hear from Jayne, the owner of Flower Garden on the Isle of Wight when she contacted us through the Chamber of Commerce business network. She had an existing website but it was a bit dated and was after both a refresh and an on-line shop to appeal to her many existing customers.
We took her ideas down on paper and came back with a web design to show how it would look and function. Since she has many different types of flowers, she wanted the ability to update the website in her own time and so we developed a bespoke shopping page where she can add products and remove them. In the process, we also produced a illustration of her shop to accommodate the contact page.

Paul Owen, an award-winning tattooist was after a refresh for his website. We wanted the website to be easy to use and eye-catching for their shop. After our initial case study, we quickly realised that a lot of portfolios on tattoo websites were difficult to navigate so we sought to make one that was both fast to load and easy to use on all devices such as iPhones, androids, iPads and desktop computers. Paul and Kat who run both Phoenix Laser and Naughty Needles are avid Facebook users so we integrated the news section on the homepage.

A reputable shop in Bolton were recommended to us as a reliable and quick website design provider. We communicated to the client through phone and e-mail and accomplished their specifications. They were after a reliable, simple and easy to use website. Their previous one was developed in Flash which wasn’t supported in smart phones so we built a website from the ground up. They were pleased with the final and we enjoyed working with them.

It was an exciting, new direction for us to work with a cottage owner on the Isle of Wight. Her existing website was looking very dated and difficult to use on iPhones and other smart phones. She wanted something that would make a big impact for her visitors so we also provided her a full, in-house photography service. This made sure every image used was consistent throughout and a provided web design that didn’t steal attention from them. The other important feature was on-line booking which we added in the later stages of the project.
The website had to be designed around her customers so we focused on two aspects; Only good, relevant content and two, that the content provided was organised neatly making it a breeze to navigate around. One of the ways in which we did this was using a stripped down, easy to use navigation and a panoramic photo viewer that gave visitors the chance to interact with the site.
To complement her site, we added an easy to use gallery viewer and an elegant contact booking form to top it off. She was very pleased with the site and we enjoyed working with her to get exactly what she wanted.

We were delighted to hear from China China in Bembridge, we had known of their restaurant since we completed China China in West Cowes on the Isle of Wight, too. The two are very different, however, and the designer (Tom) was particularly happy to design their website. We visited them and Tom took some photography to capture the general feeling of the interior. It was a modern look with an emphasis on mahogany and pine wood. Of course, this had to be reflected highly in the websites design which we feel was achieved!
The designer visited once more to take additional photos that complemented the first set. After going through them we decided upon the best ones and cropped, colour corrected and sharpened them up. The menu was done with ease by using a scanner and text recognition system.
We turned around the project within 2 weeks for our normal time scale and the owner was very pleased – Another good day in the office!

We received a call from a local Chinese restaurant in Sandown on the Isle of Wight, we were delighted to work with a customer interested in such an ambitious website. They expressed the highest quality of design to match their beautiful decorated interior. We began with the normal procedure and captured images to give inspiration to the designer. After giving the mock up on paper, we then went through all the details for the content.

Their two main sections ‘Gallery’ and ‘Menu’ were made priority and we developed a very easy to use menu navigation with big buttons. We also made sure the site worked perfect in all iPhone’s and iPod’s. As for the gallery, our designer brought along a tripod for the camera and took many pictures including the restaurant full of people and the food. The customer was very pleased and is looking forward to promoting it during the Easter holiday.

Emma Goss, the owner of Parachute Boots came to us for a web presence for her fully customised & unique shoes. We gathered as much inspiration from her own designs to come up with a theme that blended seamlessly with the current range of shoes she has designed. We decided that a colourful, cartoon styled theme would be most appropriate, with easy to read text and large easy to fill in forms. We finished the project with JSX Solutions in under 2 weeks.

PJC Glazing Systems are a well-established, family-run Island business on the Isle of Wight who specialise in high quality windows, doors and conservatories. In May 2010 we were approached with the task of redesigning their website to give a better overall reflection of the company and their services. We gave PJC’s website a refreshing, professional look and made site navigation easier and more intuitive; keeping the design simple so as not to detract from the main content. The white background contributes to the website’s ‘clean’ and fresh look, while the contact form creates an easy opportunity for potential customers to contact the company.

A popular Chinese restaurant based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, China China approached us with the task of redesigning their website after seeing the impressive work we produced for China Garden. They were looking for a design that expressed their traditional roots, the stylish interior of the restaurant and the simple beauty of their meals. We were inspired by the luxurious interior to use rich, sumptuous colours to reflect the vibrancy and elegance of the China China restaurant. To complement the design we incorporated beautiful, classic Chinese ornamental images, thereby capturing the traditional feel that diners in the China China restaurant can enjoy.

After being impressed by our previous work for China Garden, Dragon Pearl, asked us to design their website to match the beautiful interior of their Shanklin-based Chinese restaurant and takeaway. XTi’s high-quality photographs give on-line visitors a glimpse of the restaurant’s friendly atmosphere and exquisite décor. Delicate examples of Chinese paintings and pale, neutral colours are used to complement the website’s simple and traditional ‘look’. The ‘Location’ page improves the site’s potential to attract customers by giving clear visual directions to Dragon Pearl and nearby parking information; features which are provided by Google Maps and Google Street View.

The Four Seasons Inn on the Isle of Wight in Wroxall were so pleased with the brochures we designed for them that they asked us to create their website to match the new style. We combined powerful behind-the-scenes features with an elegant design to make the website easy-to-use and create a great first impression. The website’s owners can easily update the special offers and menu prices at any time using the integrated Content Management System. Search Engine Optimisation techniques were employed to raise the website’s on-line presence and the interactive Google Map provides a helpful visual aid to direct customers to the establishment.

China Garden in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight asked us to design and develop a website for them to enable their customers to quickly and easily choose from the takeaway’s extensive menu of Pekinese, Cantonese and Szechuan Chinese food. We also gave the website a beautiful design, featuring mouth-watering photographs of China Garden’s culinary delights. The eye-catching design is complemented by the added functionality of the interactive Google Map on the ‘Location’ area of the website. CardTek, an EPoS (electric point of sale) and cashless management company on the Isle of Wight wanted a presence on the web. We discussed the underlining business position and produced a mock up that we felt encapsulated what they outlined. They were extremely happy on the first mock up and we finalised the design within a couple of days. Clive Elliott developed the website efficiently and quickly and needless to say, the client was very pleased.
